Four terrorists were shot down by the security forces during an encounter in J&K early this morning
The encounter was carried out by the special police forces. Two among them have been reported missing, officials confirmed.
The encounter broke out last night in Panjran village of the district’s Lassirpora area.
The operation was jointly launched by the Indian Army, CRPF and the Police in Pulwama after they received information about the presence of terrorists in the area.
According to reports, the terrorists belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammed’s troupe. The security forces had already set up an anti-terror operation in the Valley well in advance.

In the first five months of 2019, the overall final analysis shows a tally of 100 terrorists, including 23 foreigners who have been killed in Kashmir. Including top commanders Zakir Musa, the chief of so-called Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, a group affiliated with Al-Qaeda.
