Alison Brie, probably to be She-Hulk, is coming to stop Captain Marvel from being the one and only female captain of MCU.
There are several Marvel’s Disney+ shows still waiting to go into production. Some of the shows like Moon Night, She-Hulk, Ms Marvel, etc. were announced by Marvel quite a long ago. But Marvel is yet to fix the creators and writers for the shows. Similarly, there has been some news regarding She-Hulk soon going into production. But again, Marvel hasn’t announced the star cast for the She-Hulk, and there was no confirmation regarding the main female lead to play She-Hulk. That is, up until now.
In midst of all the hype for Black Widow, and updates coming in for Captain Marvel 2, there are rumours that Marvel is planning to rope in GLOW star Alison Brie to become She-Hulk. Bosses hope she might be the plug to stop Captain Marvel from taking over MCU if she goes rogue.

Will Alison Brie join MCU as She-Hulk and stop Captain Marvel aka Carol Danvers?
There have been a lot of rumours lately regarding the casting of She-Hulk. Marvel had announced She-Hulk as a Disney+ Show, and it is planned to soon go into production. But Marvel’s hunt for She-Hulk isn’t going easy. She-Hulk has been a very prominent character in Marvel Comics, and since the Hulk in MCU has started doing peace talks, the fans are eagerly waiting for She-Hulk show them some Hulk Smash.
Recently, few rumours broke out that Marvel is looking to cast some “Alison Brie-type” for the character of “She-Hulk” on Disney Plus.
What did Alison Brie say about the rumours of her joining MCU as She-Hulk?
When she was asked about it on “The Late Show With James Corden” the night right after the rumours broke, she said, “I didn’t know it was such a trending thing, but I woke up to a lot of Instagram posts of like side-by-side pictures of me and She-Hulk, which I just thought; ‘cool’. And then that quote about an – Alison Brie-type – which honestly, I found very exciting because for years I’ve auditioned for the Anne Hathaway type or the Zooey Deschanel type, I was very flattered to be my own type for somebody else.”

Fans are eager to know why Marvel wants to cast someone “Alison Brie-Type” for She-Hulk and not Alison Brie herself. She also seemed to dodge this question in her interview. Though her way mirrored Paul Rudd’s way of denial just before he was cast as Ant-Man. If we trust those rumours, then we could totally see Alison Brie portraying She-Hulk and stopping Captain Marvel in being the sole “Woman” of MCU.
She-Hulk and Captain Marvel against each other in Comics
In the latest Marvel Comics, Captain Marvel is currently fighting with Avengers in her Captain Marvel #14. She isn’t doing it willingly but is forced to take on Avengers by her enemies, and her denial would mean the destruction of all Kree camps on Earth. While Carol was fighting with Avengers, She-Hulk enters into the scene and takes Carol by surprise punch. Her She-Hulk punch sends Carol flying away in the skies. Carol admits that she didn’t plan about She-Hulk, and now she has to take on her as well.
There are various previous instances in Marvel Comics where we have seen Captain Marvel and She-Hulk together. In MCU, with Captain Marvel just moving ahead with her second movie, and She-Hulk soon to be introduced, there are possibilities that we can see Captain Marvel and She-Hulk in MCU together. In that case, Alison Brie as She-Hulk might try to stop and show some Hulk moves to Captain Marvel played by Brie Larson.
