AMC’s thriller-crime drama Breaking Bad aired the final episode of season 5 in September 2013. And since then there has been no news of Season 6. However, to fan’s delight, the Breaking Bad makers have protracted a Breaking Bad movie and a spin-off prequel of the series.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad movie
El Camino: A Breaking Bad movie released in 2019 which served as an epilogue to the television series. The movie was created and directed by Vince Gilligan who also served as the writer-producer to the Breaking Bad television series. Actor Aaron Paul donned his role as Jesse Pinkman in the Breaking Bad movie.
Several actors including Bryan Cranston, Krysten Ritter, Charles Baker, Jesse Plemons, Jonathon Banks and Matt Jones reprised their original roles from the series.

A Breaking Bad feature film was reported since the series’ finale in September 2013. The idea was conceived by Vince Gilligan in 2017 and fulfilled by Aaron. It was only until late 2019 that the project was confirmed when Netflix released a trailer.
The storyline follows what happens to Jesse Pinkman subsequent to the events of the series finale.
Breaking Bad Prequel Spin-off
Prior to the movie’s release, a Breaking Bad prequel spin-off was already in-action. Since there was no chance of Breaking Bad Season 6 and fans were heavily hooked to the series; the makers instead proposed a prequel series named Better Call Saul.
The first episode of Better Call Saul opens with black-and-white flash-forwards that connects to the last episode of Breaking Bad. The events of the series occur six years prior to the beginning of Breaking Bad.

Better Call Saul centers on Jimmy McGill, a criminal-for-hire. He actually has two names in the series – Jimmy McGill and his colourful alter ego ‘Saul Goodman’. The series follows his transformation from Jimmy to Saul Goodman propelled by the death of his brother.
To move beyond the shadow exuded by his brother’s troubling death Jimmy begins practising law with his pen name Saul Goodman.
Breaking Bad Better Call Saul Crossover
Better Call Saul is set in the 2000s and the events of the episode occur nearly six years prior to Breaking Bad. Saul Goodman eventually goes on to become Walter White’s lawyer in Breaking Bad.
The two shows begin to stream into one ocean in the fourth season of Better Call Saul. Theoretically, you have two shows for the price of one.
Vince Gilligan, the strongman behind the show told Reuters, “More and more in season four, the Breaking Bad world is coming into the Better Call Saul world, it’s overlapping.”
As of now, it’s difficult to speculate anything on Breaking Bad Season 6, however, Better Call Saul Season 5 first episode premiers in three days, i.e, 23rd February titled ‘Magic Man’.
