And as for Kaley Cuoco, the actress who played Penny on the show has perhaps been the most vocal about her desire to revive the show.

Big Bang Theory: Season 13 Plotline
CBS has a lot going for them in the revival for The Big Bang Theory. Yes, it is certain they will end up making a fortune by resurrecting one of the most successful sitcoms of all time. But the end of Season 12 for The Big Bang Theory left the show at a very interesting place.
Season 12 of The Big Bang Theory ended with Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler winning a Nobel Prize for their work and Leonard and Penny announcing that they were expecting a baby. Raj has finally found peace in being single and Howard and Amy are blissfully enjoying their married life.

So, Season 13 will most likely focus on Sheldon and Amy taking their married life to the next level now that Sheldon is getting more comfortable with intimacy. While, Leonard and Penny would become parents for the first time. Raj could find love without feeling like he has to settle.
Well, it certainly looks like CBS is making a very smart business move with reviving Big Bang Theory for a season 13. And we can promise we will be there, day one to welcome the gang back.
