Highlights —
- Season 15 of Heartland would be completely un-relatable as usual
- ‘Heartland’ season 15 would be too stretched like previous seasons
- After 14 seasons, it is boring and unbearable
‘Heartland’ is a hit Canadian drama series, renewing year after year, now for season 15. But this time fans are begging with folded hands to cancel the series as they no longer can tolerate boredom and repetition of the same kind of storyline. They have put forth 3 big reasons for it. Scroll down to know what those reasons are.
Season 15 of Heartland would be completely un-relatable as usual
Some families are still absolutely hooked to ‘Heartland’, only because they love horses and they think this show is heaven-sent. While others say that they refuse to watch it despite pleas from their family members. They find it smarmy, and full of sentimental rubbish. The only good part is that ‘Heartland’ has some nice animals on it. The biggest reason why people don’t want ‘Heartland’ Season 15 is that they don’t find a single one of the human characters to be anyone they can identify with. Moreover, they find them all genuinely dysfunctional. Some of the reviewers on IMBD went on to say that horses are the only actors remotely decent in this series.

There are few people who, despite this reason, love ‘Heartland’ and, in fact, really love it. But there are many who detest ‘Heartland’ and find no reason to watch it for season 15.
‘Heartland’ season 15 would be too stretched like previous seasons
If facts are to be considered, CBC family drama ‘Heartland’ is the longest-running one-hour scripted series in the history of Canadian television.
“It is a long-running chick flick”, and this is the statement made by people who love the show. For this very reason, there’s nothing positive about the series. It is clear that ‘Heartland’ has already run for so long that even a single season more is hard to digest. Perhaps, it’s high time the showrunners consider cancelling the series.
‘Heartland’ is popular for its warm and sentimental tone, and that’s why season 15 is happening.
However, the show is a far cry from the binge-worthy, hard-hitting dramas that most broadcasters want these days. Often termed as a cult classic, one can’t expect any shift in the way the plot progresses on ‘Heartland’s’ fifteenth season.
After 14 seasons, it is boring and unbearable
This series is set on a horse ranch in Alberta and, for 14 seasons, they are only showing horses moving and characters crying over and over again. Three women heroines on the show behave like the usual Earth mothers who know everything. The basic plotline in each episode remains the same. One of the men in ‘Heartland’ says something stupid, or does something stupid, or displays the wrong attitude, then one or all of the women jump in and correct him. They make his mind right, and put him back in his “place”. One of the viewers, being fed up of the repetitive drama said, “… the setting is gorgeous, the horses are beautiful, and, if accurate, the details about training and caring for horses are interesting. But the sexism is so pervasive that it gets monotonous very quickly”.
