Serena Williams, Simona Halep, Barbora Strycova, Elina Svitolina sailed through the quarter-finals of women’s singles and now have entered the semi-finals of the Wimbledon.
Williams advanced to the semi-final of Wimbledon after beating fellow American Alison Riske by 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 on Tuesday.

Former world number one Romanian Simona Halep on Tuesday became the first semifinalist at the Wimbledon after defeating China’s Zhang Shuai.

The number seven seed Halep came from behind to upset Zhang Shuai 7-6(4), 6-1.
Halep will play Elina Svitolina, the Ukraine eighth seed in the semi-final.
It will be the 24-year-old Ukrainian’s first Grand Slam semi-final.
