In the second quarter-final of the Rugby World Cup 2019, New Zealand beat Ireland by 46-14. New Zealand completely dominated Ireland, especially in the first half of a match.

New Zealand has lost two of their last three matches against Ireland but this time they succeed to beat the men in green. This is the 7th time when New Zealand entered into the semi-finals (highest by any team) of Rugby World Cup.
On the other hand, this is Ireland’s 7th loss in the quarter-final stage of Rugby World Cup. With this loss, Ireland’s former captain Rory Best retired from the game. In April, Rory has announced that he will be retiring after Ireland’s World Cup campaign. Ireland will be very disappointed with their performance.
