Sporting might lose Bruno Fernandes in January.
The Portuguese football club, Sporting CP might lose their major player Bruno Fernandes in the upcoming transfer window. Currently, Bruno Fernandes plays as a midfielder for the club. The 25-year-old midfielder had joined Sporting in June 2017.
In this season, Bruno Fernandes has scored 9 goals for the club in 17 matches. Sporting CP is ready to sell Bruno Fernandes for €65M, according to report in a Portuguese newspaper O Jogo.
United and Spurs are interested to take Bruno Fernandes
The English football clubs Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are willing to take Sporting mid-fielder in the upcoming transfer window. This is not the first time when Fernandes is targeted by United and Spurs.
In the last summer, both United and Spurs were eager to take Fernandes but they didn’t take him. This time, United looks for Fernandes as Ander Herrera’s replacement while Spurs want Fernandes as Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen’s successor.
Sporting’s financial condition is not good
Sporting CP is one of the oldest football clubs in Portugal but in recent years it’s financial value is decreased. Bruno Fernandes’ game is increasing day by day and his value is also increasing. Sporting CP did not want to sell Bruno Fernandes in the upcoming transfer window. Due to the poor financial conditions, Sporting might lose their star player in January.
