UEFA may ban Ronaldo for his “improper conduct”
The Juventus striker, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a perfect hat-trick in the match against Atletico in the Champions League. After scoring the hat-trick, he mocked Diego Simeone, the Atletica manager by celebrating the goal in his style.
On such an inappropriate stance of Ronaldo, UEFA decided to conduct a disciplinary investigation against him. The governing body of European football has charged Ronaldo with “improper conduct“. The hearing for the same will be held on March 21.
On the other hand, the Atletica manager was fined 20,000 Euros and was saved from the threat of any ban.
Ronaldo’s punishment is totally dependant upon UEFA’s judgement of the matter. UEFA will soon scrutinize the happening and pass the judgement.
With the upcoming Champions League Quarter-Finals against Ajax, there is still no certainty if Ronaldo will be able to escape the ban or not. Although, Massimiliano Allergi, coach of Juventus is sure about Ronaldo being saved from any sort of ban.
In the striker’s defense, Massimilliano said that I think everyone celebrated their own way on the field and in the stands. I saw nothing strange, just a celebration. There won’t be a ban.”
Not only the coach but all the die-heart Ronaldo fans are hoping for the same. No one will want to see the striker sitting back while the team is playing such an important league.
