The 23-year-old will leave Camp Nou at the end of the season and is hoping to find another Liga club
Barcelona are reportedly set to part ways with Munir El Haddadi come to the end of the season with the 23-year-old on the hunt for more regular minutes. El Haddadi has been with the Camp Nou club since 2011 and was touted to be one of the ‘next Lionel Messi’ to come through the Masia academy. That thought has never come to fruition and despite being called into the senior squad for this season, has only managed to play 147 minutes for Ernesto Valverde’s side.
At Barça, they believe the economic and sporting offer presented at the last minute should suffice to match Munir’s pretensions. The club says it has made an effort and that the new proposal significantly improves the current conditions of the striker’s deal.
However, from the viewpoint of Munir, he knows Barca are aware of several offers for the player and that in his capacity as a potential free agent he can attain salaries well above the club’s current offer.
As such, Marca report that the striker will leave the Catalan capital coming June with their story indicating that the player is looking to stay in Spain and find another Liga club.
Levante, Real Betis, and Valencia are all believed to be interested.
