Premier League champions Manchester City have signed 18-year-old winger Felix Correia from Sporting Lisbon, the Portuguese club said on Monday.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed but British media reported the transfer fee was in the region of £3.2 million (US$3.89 million) that could rise a further £3.2 million in add-ons.
The 18-year-old Felix Correia is yet to make an appearance for Portugal’s senior football team but he played some games for Portugal’s Under-19 team.
Last month, in Europian Championship Felix Correia, played five matches for Portugal’s Under-19 team and helped his team to reach the final.
Manchester City is going to start their league title against West Ham United on August 10.
