Matthijs de Ligt, the 19-year-old Ajax captain who led the Dutch side to the Champions League semifinals has penned down a contract with Juventus for a fee of €75M until 2024.
He arrived in Turin on Tuesday and underwent a medical on Wednesday ahead of the signing.
Matthijs has been in-demand, but the Serie A giants appear to have finally won the race to sign the Dutch defender after fending off competition from FCB, PSG and Man Utd.
According to goal.com, De Ligt agreed personal terms with Juventus last week that will see the defender earn €12m a year.
Juve has won eight consecutive Serie A titles and is looking to continue that run while also earning European glory in 2019-20 under new manager Maurizio Sarri
Dutchman will get to play and learn alongside experienced defenders Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci.

De Ligt made 55 appearances in all competitions in 2018-19, scoring seven goals while leading his side to a domestic double.
Whilst money is clearly a key factor with any transfer, the role of Cristiano Ronaldo and Mino Raiola appears to be visible in De Ligt’s move.
De Ligt is already a regular at the heart of the Netherlands defense adjacent Van Dijk plus he captained a young Ajax side to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Dutchman is already a 6-foot-2 with all the strength, pace, tactical smarts, leadership, and classic defensive technique and all at the tender age of 19.
Thus, €75M should prove a bargain considering inflation in the transfer market.
