Eoin Morgan smashed his way into the record books, blasting 17 sixes – the most in an ODI inning – on his way to 148 off just 71 balls against Afghanistan.
Captain Morgan played one hell of a knock. Who would believe if we say there were chances of him not playing the game a day before?

It was a record-breaking day for the England skipper. With most sixes in ODI innings, Morgan smashed fourth fastest century in WC history.

Who knew Eoin Morgan could surpass hitters like Chris Gayle, Rohit Sharma and AB de Villiers.
The magnificent innings came to an end with a deserving standing ovation for Morgan.
What a miserable day for Afghanistan. But what a knock from the English skipper. Such clean hitting. Marvellous to watch even in an ultra one-sided contest.Ā
