Ireland batted well on the first day as compared to England. Ireland failed to post a big total on the board and were all out on 207 runs. Ireland’s Andrew Balbirnie scored highest (55) runs.

In the end, Sam Curran scored quick 37 runs at the strike rate of 127.59.
England gave the target of 182 runs to Ireland. The opening bowlers of England, Chris Woakes & Stuart Broad took all the wickets of Ireland. In the second innings, Ireland scored only 38 runs.
