IPL 2019: RCB won by 17 runs against KXIP
So with that, RCB seals their fourth win in five to keep up their thin last possibilities in VIVO IPL 2019. KXIP gave a tough fight chasing the target set by RCB but collapsed, in the end, making RCB win by 17 runs. AB de Villiers knock was the base for the Challengers score of 200 plus.

Coming out to bat, RCB skipper Virat Kohli fell cheaply. But clearly, the two had other ideas. Once the slump was dealt, de Villiers took the charge and Stoinis supported.
Studded with seven towering sixes and three boundaries de Villiers scored an unbeaten 82 off 44 balls, helping RCB pick 64 in their last three overs. Stoinis too collected 20 of the last four deliveries to help RCB breach the 200 run mark.

Chasing the score of 203, KXIP had a solid start with Chris Gayle and KL Rahul smashing back to back boundaries. Gayle, the Universe Boss smacked 23 runs in no time playing just 10 balls. Gayle storm was stopped by a game-changing catch of de Villiers.
Mayank Agarwal and Rahul recovered the innings and were adding runs on the board on quite a decent pace. After the duo departed in quick successions David Miler and Nicholas Pooran took the command but were unsuccessful and the batsmen collapsed in the end with Umesh Yadav grabbing 3 wickets in the final over giving RCB their fourth win of this edition.
