IPL 2019: A little sneak peek before the match between KKR and RR
Kolkata Knight Riders beat Rajasthan Royals when they last met in the Indian Premier League. That was on April 7. It was also the last time KKR won a game in IPL 12. Since then they have lost five games in a row.
RR, who have three successes from their ten matches up until this point, is in an odd spot; regardless of whether they win every one of their matches, it probably won’t be adequate to take them through to the playoffs. They have no other choice however to continue winning and trust the scientific conditions will fall in their favour.
The Royals have a few failing to meet expectations players, and right now is an ideal opportunity for those players to reimburse the group the board’s confidence in them. Like their adversaries, the Royals also have issues with their bowling assault; take out Jofra Archer and Shreyas Gopal for their bowling line-up, and their assault looks weak.
Riders bowling has been a disappointment from the beginning and even batting line up is more dependant on Andre Russell. KKR need to pull up their socks and work collectively to mend their ways for playoffs.
