IPL 2019: A little sneak peek before the match between DC and SRH
Will Kotla prove to be lucky once again for Delhi Capitals? Tonight Feroz Shah Kotla will spectate cricket between two teams who have the best combination of batting and bowling. Delhi Capitals (DC) will face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at home.
The previous match in Kotla between KKR and DC was no less than breath-taking. DC won the match in thrilling Super Over. Kagiso Rabada bowled the over stumping Andre Russell in the third ball giving DC their second win of the season. The match against KXIP though was disheartening as DC literally snatched defeat for themselves.
While chasing the target against KXIP, only run-a-ball was needed. At such a strong position, DC lost 7 wickets for 8 runs and lost the match.
SRH has had a decent season so far by winning two out of three matches they played. The ferocious openers of SRH – David Warner and Jonny Bairstow have been exceptionally well in the tournament. In the three matches so far the duo together had stiched partnerships of 100+ consecutively. Also, they broke the record score of Gambhir and Lynn for the opening wicket.
The young batting line up of Capitals has been playing modestly. The only weak point is they are unable to convert the starts into ends. Someone needs to take the responsibility to cross the finish line for Delhi then there will be no stopping for the team.
