IPL 2019: CSK bowlers marked an easy win over RCB
The first match of IPL 2019 between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) was a low scorer match. It was more of a bowling show. CSK marked an easy win over RCB with the help of spinning trio of Harbhajan Singh, Imran Tahir, and Ravindra Jadeja.
RCB was bowled out with just 70 runs on the board. Except for Parthiv Patel, none of the RCB players were able to cross the single digit mark. Patel scored 29 runs off 35 balls.
With a batting line up like Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayadu, and Shane Watson the target looked quite easy. RCB bowlers still didn’t give up and gave tough time to CSK batsmen. Yuzvendra Chahal and Moeen Ali kept the pressure and kept Raina and Raydu in check.
Suresh Raina to chase the target in a hurry got out for 19 runs. His knock helped him achieve the feat of becoming the first batsman to score 5000 runs in IPL. He was flourished with wishes for his achievement from everyone. Harbhajan took it to twitter to wish the batsman.
