The first T20I of the series between India and Bangladesh is on November 3 at New Delhi.
After an impressive series against South Africa, India’s next series is against Bangladesh. India will play 3 T20Is and 2 Test matches with Bangladesh. The first T20I of a series is on November 3 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi.
Rohit Sharma is the captain for T-20 series against Bangladesh as selectors gave a rest to Virat Kohli.
Many big players like – Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar are not a part of this (T-20) series.
India’s next target is T-20 World Cup which will be hosted at Australia in September 2020 and because of the World Cup, Indian selectors and team management are going for young players so that they can build a best possible combination for the World T-20.

The series against Bangladesh is going to be very important for some players as everyone want to get a place in India’s squad for the T-20 World Cup 2020.
Five players for whom this is going to be a crucial series:
#1. KL Rahul
This series is very important for KL Rahul. The 27-year-old batsman will most probably play as No.3 batsman in absence of Virat Kohli. KL Rahul performed really well in the last two seasons of IPL but in International cricket, he did not deliver good performances consistently.

Currently, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma are India’s first-choice opener and it is very difficult for Rahul to replace any one of them. Recently, selectors dropped Rahul from India’s Test squad. If; Rahul performs well in this series then he will definitely get a chance in India’s World T-20 squad as a backup opener.
#2. Sanju Samson
The 24-year-old wicket-keeper, Sanju Samson made his T20I debut for India in 2015 but he did not play a single International game after his debut against Zimbabwe. After a long time, selectors gave him a chance in the national team because of his amazing performances in domestic cricket.

In IPL, Sanju Samson had produced some amazing innings for his franchise. This is a crucial series for him. If; he scored good runs then selectors can consider him as wicket-keeper for the next year’s World T-20.
#3. Rishabh Pant
In recent time, Rishabh Pant did not perform well in international cricket. Indian selectors are giving regular chances to him as veteran wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni is not available after the World Cup 2019. If; Pant did not perform in this series then it might be the last series for him in 2019. Pant has to perform well in this series otherwise; selectors will look for the other alternatives.

#4. Manish Pandey
Since the 2015 World Cup, Manish Pandey got many chances in the Indian team but did not settle down because of the bad performances. In List-A cricket, Manish Pandey consistently performed well from the last three years but in International cricket, he failed to deliver. Before the 2019 World Cup, Manish Pandey got most chances at No.4 but failed to grab the opportunity.

Now, selectors giving regular chances to him in T-20 cricket. Manish has to deliver some astonishing performances in International cricket so that India will get a strong middle-order batsman for the next T-20 World Cup.
#5. Rahul Chahar
In the last two years, we saw that wrist-spinner were the biggest factor in limited-overs cricket. Currently, India has two brilliant wrist spinners (Kuldeep Yadav & Yuzvendra Chahal). Indian selectors add one more wrist spinner (Rahul Chahar) in a national team.

Rahul had played only one T20I for India but most probably he will get at least two matches in the series against Bangladesh. If; he performs good then it will be good for the Indian team.
