India beat South Africa by an innings, 202 runs and won the series by 3-0
In the 3rd Test at Ranchi, India defeated South Africa by 202 runs and clinched the series by 3-0. With this win, India became the first team to win 11 consecutive Test series at home. This is India’s second series victory in World Test Championship. Two months ago, India beat West Indies by 2-0 in a Test series.
After beating South Africa by 3-0, India extends lead in the points table of World Test Championship.
With this historic victory, India is on the top of the table of World Test Championship with total of 240 points. After India, New Zealand is on the second spot with only 60 points. The points difference between India and New Zealand is very large.
