Kohli has been registering many records across formats since a while now.
The 30-year-old Indian skipper, who has been in sublime form in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019 has crossed 20,000 international runs in total. This comprises ODIs, Tests and T20Is.
Kohli achieved the feat while batting against West Indies on Thursday.
Another feather in Kohli’s hat
Kohli, who recently became the fastest to 11,000 ODI runs, is also the third Indian to reach the landmark after Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid. Before this match, Kohli had amassed 19,963 runs from Tests, ODIs and T20Is. Kohli, who has 11087 runs in ODIs, 6613 in Tests and 2263 in T20Is, became the fastest to 20000 when he completed the feat in his 417th innings.

Kohli became the 12th batsman in the history of the game to script this feat.
He also became only the third Indian to get past 20k international runs. Sachin Tendulkar (34,357 runs) leads the tally for most international runs in world cricket.

The list includes several GOATs including Kumar Sangakkara, Ricky Ponting, Jacques Kallis, Brian and Dravid to name a few.
Kohli achieved the feat with fourth consecutive 50-plus score
Kohli was dismissed for 72 against WI at Old Trafford in Manchester. This was his fourth successive fifty-plus score in the ongoing World Cup.
The Indian captain has batted with a lot of flair.
He went past former Indian legends Virender Sehwag (843) and (860) in terms of career World Cup runs (903). He is now only behind Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly.

Kohli so far has 66 international tons and on this day he became the 12th batsman to complete 20000 international runs and the list has some illustrious names like Mahela Jayawardene, Rahul Dravid, Kumar Sangakkara, Ricky Ponting, Jacques Kallis etc.
20000 cheers to the legend for whom nothing is a long shot.
