CSK to donate all the proceedings from 1st IPL home match to the families of Pulwama Bravehearts
The opening match of IPL 2019 between the defending champions Chennai Super Kings(CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) is being talked about the most. The match is the clash between the former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni and current Indian skipper Virat Kohli. The tickets for the match were sold just within a few hours on the opening day of the sale.
CSK’s director Rakesh Singh announced that CSK will devote all the earnings from its first home match in IPL 2019 to the families of Pulwama heroes. All the collection on the sale of tickets of the match to be held on March 23 at Chepauk will be presented to the clan of CRPF personnel.
The amount will be presented as cheque by CSK captain MS Dhoni. MS Dhoni is also the honoured lieutenant colonel of the Indian Territorial Army.
The attack which took place on 14th February at South Kashmir’s Pulwama district witnessed the loss of 40 CRPF personnel.
CSK has taken an appreciative step, this is the least one can do for the peace of all the Bravehearts.
