The announcement signals the start of an ambitious journey for the company as it eyes long-term expansion in the coming years. It is seeking to capitalise on the interest in premium kitchenware in India, as well as increasing demand in fine-home dining and the popularity of open-plan kitchens. The company also plans to cater to the growing premium hospitality segment.

The news also follows fast on the heels of Ahluwalia’s recent appointment as Non-Executive Chairman of Principle India, the global brand and implementation consultancy. Ahluwalia is preparing to return to India in the coming years.
