Sohrabuddin’s case
A day after a special CBI court acquitted all accused in the alleged fake encounter of gangster Sohrabuddin Shaikh, Congress president Rahul Gandhi took a jibe at the decision saying “no one killed” Shaikh, Kausar Bi, and some others, “they just died”.
In a tweet on Saturday, Rahul put out a list: “NO ONE KILLED… Haren Pandya. Tulsiram Prajapati. Justice Loya. Prakash Thombre. Shrikant Khandalkar. Kauser Bi. Sohrabuddin Shiekh. THEY JUST DIED.”
NO ONE KILLED…
Haren Pandya.
Tulsiram Prajapati.
Justice Loya.
Prakash Thombre.
Shrikant Khandalkar.
Kauser Bi.
Sohrabuddin Shiekh.
THEY JUST DIED.

Sohrabuddin encounter case verdict: CBI court acquitted all 22 accused in the case, citing lack of evidence.
CBI court said, “Government machinery and prosecution put in a lot of effort, 210 witnesses were brought but satisfactory evidence didn’t come and witnesses turned hostile. No fault of the prosecutor if witnesses don’t speak.”
