Union Home Minister Amit Shah again indulge in blame game politics to gratify Delhi voters but soon his hollow claims were caught on CCTV cameras and thrashed by the ruling AAP.
One defeat after another and BJP’s master strategist Amit Shah is looking out of ideas in Delhi. This time, HM Shah attacked the AAP government for faking the installation of CCTV cameras across Delhi. Many on social media are wondering if its spondylitis that’s preventing Amit Shah from being able to look up and spot them.
After the 2019 general elections win, things have been going downhill for BJP chief Amit Shah. However, since then BJP has lost all state elections. Now with the prospect of a crushing defeat in Delhi getting real, Shah is out of sorts and bringing up non-issues in his rallies.
Close Circuit Approach Caught on Camera
Abjectly, Shah in various political campaigns had continuously alleged AAP government of over-highlighting every issue, i.e. from health, education, water, and security. This time he alleged that AAP government did not fulfil its promise of installing 15 lakh CCTV cameras in Delhi. Shah said, “Where does the Delhi government install the CCTV cameras?”
However, the Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia was quick to come forward and counter Shah’s allegation. He and AAP’s twitter handle showed the footage of Amit Shah caught in Delhi’s CCTV cameras on more than one occasion.
Amit Shah caught on camera – redhanded
In another clip that Sisodia shared, a CCTV caught Shah’s door to door campaign in Lajpat Nagar. Furthermore, Sisodia said that Amit Shah went to eight houses in a lane where 16 cameras were around it. In fact, one house itself had a CCTV camera over it. These were CCTV cameras installed by the Kejriwal government.
Sisodia further urged Shah Ji that if he wants to spot CCTV cameras in Delhi, then all he needs to do is ‘look-up’. He then took a swipe at the home minister and other BJP leaders, claiming they think that all parties throw ‘jumlas’ like BJP but AAP government believes in keeping its word.
