Online dating app Tinder has announced the launch of its new feature in India called the ‘Festival Mode’.
Tinder Festival Mode helps concert-goers to connect with each other through the app before the event. The feature enables app-users to add a badge to their profile which will then highlight the concert/festival they are attending.
The app will make a debut in the Bacardi NH7 Weekender event in Pune. The event is taking place between November 29 to December 1.
Tinder was the top-grossing non-gaming app globally in 2018.
Thereon, users will be able to match and chat with other users before they arrive at the intended destination. Claim your festival on your profile, see who’s going where, and find your crowd before you get there.
Festival Mode feature has started in India and users will have access to event-specific badges.
The company first rolled out the feature in May 2019. After tasting success at global festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Bonnaroo, British Summer Time and EDC, Orlando. Now, it is India’s turn with the Bacardi NH7 Weekender in Pune.
The Dating App launched in India in 2016.
A secret after-hour stage is planned by Tinder featuring acoustic sets by artists at NH7 Weekender.

The Dating App is available in 190 countries and in 40-plus languages.
The app lets two people with similar interests to interact with each other. A unique concept by Tinder, the Festival Mode feature encourages concert-goers to enjoy the festival with your match and gives them a chance to vibe with them.
In order to activate the Festival Mode, users need to log in to their Tinder account. Search for the Festival Mode feature and add it to their profile.
