Fallout of the Chinese advisory
The visitors from China were the biggest spenders of all international travellers in the US, spending $36.4 billion in last year. But, nationwide, the number of Chinese visitors declined by 5.7%.
Certainly, the reason for this decline is the increasing strength of the dollar and the trade tension between the nations. After this travel advisory, the numbers will go further down. US luxury business will suffer even more now.
