Unpardonable Doings That Unmask The Real Donald Trump.
As the countdown to 3 November begins, here are 7 things about Donald Trump you need to remember — or know if you didn’t.
45th President of the United States, real estate tycoon, husband, and father of five children – Donald J. Trump wears many hats. Had it been any other President of the United States, this somber introduction would’ve been followed by an equally somber examination of what he had or hadn’t done in his four years of Presidency, which policies were laudable, which ones lousy, where he slipped up, and where he did just fine. But sadly, it’s Donald Trump in question, prompting us to dwell on the basics to determine if the man is fit to remain President.
The unpresidential President: 7 things about President Donald Trump — you need to know and forgive him for, if you can!!
1) Trump is a Habitual Sexual Abuser. And the Greatest Sexist that Ever Lived
Not surprising at all, considering this is someone who has made no secret of his crush on his own daughter. Spanning four decades, sexual misconduct allegations against the President have come from former models, an ex-business partner, a journalist, and even a former Trump campaign staffer. Go over the Access Hollywood Tape for a glimpse into the man’s sick mind, or read All the President’s Women: Donald Trump and the Making of a Predator by Barry Levine and Monique El-Faizy for every juicy detail of more than two dozen incidents of “unwanted sexual contact”.
Watch: Trump is very strange with his daughter Ivanka Trump
Trump is someone who has made no secret of his crush on his own daughter.
For decades, Trump has been objectifying women, making no bones about how much their looks matter the most, degrading them as sex objects to be bedded and disposed of. There’s also his nauseating habit of deriding women by mocking their looks or comparing them to animals. So, pornographic actor Stephanie Clifford is “Horseface”, television star Rosie O’Donnell has “a fat, ugly face”, former aide Omarosa Manigault Newman is “that dog”, and Kamala Harris is “this monster”. What’s most infuriating of all? This is a man who joins hands with the religious right to oppose abortion at home and signs legislation that makes it harder for women in developing countries to get birth control.
2) Trump is Anti-Science
There’s of course no forgetting (or forgiving) all that potentially dangerous COVID-19-related claptrap –belittling the importance of wearing masks, trivializing warnings issued by the nation’s top infectious disease expert, floating quackish miracle cures for the virus, & what have you. Additionally, the man has proactively harmed the planet by pulling his country out of the historic Paris climate agreement, dismantled climate policies formulated under President Obama, and made the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) adopt policies designed to undermine the role of scientific data in crafting policy.
3) Trump is a Racist
Stoking xenophobia against immigrants, using racist dog whistles, threatening anti-racism protesters with violence, and expressing tacit support for white supremacist groups may not just be election-winning gimmicks after all. Back in 1973, the U.S Department of Justice sued the Trump Management Corporation for violating the Fair Housing Act by refusing to rent apartments to black tenants. Donald Trump was then president of the Corporation. In 1992, Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino had to pay a $200,000 penalty for transferring black and women dealers off tables to pander to the prejudices of a big-time gambler. In 2000, Trump secretly funded incendiary ads maligning the Native American St. Regis Mohawk tribe whose proposed casino could financially imperil his own casinos in Atlantic City. The bottomline? This man’s a genuine believer in racism; no pretensions and all.
This man’s a genuine believer in racism; no pretensions and all.
4) Trump Doesn’t Pay Taxes. And is Corrupt to the Core
According to a recent New York Times publication, Donald Trump paid $750 in federal income taxes in 2016. And 2017. No income taxes were paid at all in 10 of the previous 15 years as most his businesses reported losses year after year. The bombshell report further states that Ivanka Trump – whom aunt Maryanne Trump Barry derisively called a “mini-Donald” – received “consulting fees” as a salaried employee of the Trump Organization that helped reduce her father’s tax bills. There’s more. The fortunes of various Trump enterprises – properties, resorts, hotels – have apparently seen a sharp rise since Trump’s political ascent.
5) Trump is a Serial Liar
If lies were recognized, Mr. President would have bagged the Guinness World Record by now. According to the Washington Post’s Fact Checker Column, Trump has made 20,000 misleading claims from the time he assumed office till 9 July, when he apparently hit the milestone. The subjects are wide-ranging and relate to Coronavirus testing, the economy, military equipment, tax cuts, Obama, and Biden. A fresh blizzard of lies was unleashed at the first presidential debate, including brazen falsehoods about mail voting, about having brought back 700,000 manufacturing jobs, and about Biden intending to abolish private health insurance, to name a few.
6) Trump Doesn’t Know the Bible
That is a big deal considering this is a president who won 81 percent of the white evangelical vote. Back in 2015, Trump kept saying the Bible is his favorite book, but when asked during a Bloomberg interview what his favorite verses were, he prevaricated, saying it was “very personal”. A few months later, he cited “eye for an eye” as a favorite verse, explaining that people taking American jobs and money must be paid back in their own coin. First, this verse is from the Old Testament (Jewish Scriptures), and Orthodox Rabbanic Tradition does not interpret this verse to mean literal retribution as Trump understood. Second, most liberal Christian theologians believe Jesus repudiated this teaching in his famous Sermon on the Mount. And third, since Trump professed his respect for a Hebrew law, the book of Leviticus prescribes a penalty of death by stoning for adultery. Perhaps orange would turn pale white if only the serial adulterer knew.

7) Trump Admires Dictators
And shamelessly to boot. The president has lavished praise on North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, described Turkish strongman Recep Tayyip Erdogan as a “friend”, called Chinese President Xi Jinping “a very, very good man”, and admitted to “getting along well” with Vladimir Putin. Here’s more: In The Room Where It Happened, former national security adviser John Bolton claims Trump almost begged Xi Jinping to help him get re-elected by buying more American agricultural products.
Given his distaste for the media and calls for cracking down on protesters, we are not so sure Trump doesn’t fancy himself a “very, very great” dictator.
So this exclusively curated list of 7 things about Donald J. Trump shows that he isn’t just 45th President of the United States, real estate tycoon, husband, and father of five children. He’s also a philanderer, a liar, a racist, an ignorant person, a tyrant, and effectively, a conman. That’s a record as unflattering as it gets.
Fit for the Presidency? The question should be more like, fit to be considered for the Presidency? NO – as Donald Trump would tweet in his all-caps style.
