In statement, the palace said —
“The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.”The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”The Royal Family
Shortly after Queen Elizabeth II’s death, an official statement was posted on the gates of Buckingham Palace. it noted that she “died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.”
Following the announcement all her four children Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward have travelled to be with the Queen and grandsons are joining soon too.
In a statement, Prince Charles, who is now to became the King released a statement upon the death of his mother — he said:
“The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family.”We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother.”
I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.”During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which The Queen was so widely held.”

President Biden‘s and First Lady said in a statement:
“Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was more than a monarch. She defined an era. In a world of constant change, she was a steadying presence and a source of comfort and pride for generations of Britons, including many who have never known their country without her. An enduring admiration for Queen Elizabeth II united people across the Commonwealth. The seven decades of her history-making reign bore witness to an age of unprecedented human advancement and the forward march of human dignity.”
Speaking outside No 10, Prime Minister Liz Truss said:
It was “the passing of the second Elizabethan age” and concluded her address by saying “God save the King“.
Ms Truss, who was appointed prime minister by the Queen just two days ago, referred to Charles, the new King, as King Charles III, saying:
“Today the Crown passes, as it has done for more than a thousand years, to our new monarch, our new head of state, his majesty King Charles III.“

“It’s an extraordinary achievement to have presided with such dignity and grace for 70 years. Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the death of the Queen would leave a “void” and “this is our country’s saddest day”.
“As is so natural with human beings, it is only when we face the reality of our loss that we truly understand what has gone,” he said.He added: “That is why we grieve for Elizabeth the Great, the longest serving and in many ways the finest monarch in our history.”
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted:
“I had memorable meetings with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II during my UK visits in 2015 and 2018. I will never forget her warmth and kindness. During one of the meetings she showed me the handkerchief Mahatma Gandhi gifted her on her wedding. I will always cherish that gesture.”
Vladimir Putin sent condolences too:
“Her Majesty’s name is inextricably linked with the key events in the contemporary history of the United Kingdom. For many decades, Elizabeth II rightfully enjoyed the love and respect of her subjects, as well as high regard on the world stage.
