Luxury and beauty brands are supposed to bring just the ‘oomph factor’ in your life, but in the times of coronavirus imposed quarantine, the brands are servicing much-needed care.
Beauty brands around the world are coming together to serve the society in the dreadful times of coronavirus. From producing hydroalcoholic gel, creating Covid-19 fund, and providing paid leaves, to also donating food to those most in need. Businesses are doing their bid to bring society calm in quarantine times.

Businesses have suffered a loss since the wide outbreak of the pandemic. However, companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon have set up Covid-19 Funds for their employees. LinkedIn is opening up 16 of its learning courses. Starbucks has extended mental health benefits to its employees.
Giorgio Armani has donated 1.43 million to hospitals in Rome and Milan.
Similarly, Kering Group has donated 2 million euros towards the fight against coronavirus.
So, here are some beauty brands which are doing their bid to make life better for self-isolated, quarantined people.
The Body Shop
In the US, cosmetics and skincare company The Body Shop will be donating 30,000 units of its cleansing products to senior communities and local shelters. While the Covid-19 situation evolves every day the brand will ‘continue to reassess needs and opportunities’ to provide supplies, Refinery29 reports.
LVMH
French conglomerate LVMH is making and distributing hand sanitizers to French hospitals. The shortage of hand sanitizers is a grave situation as its instrumental in preventing the exchange of virus to a great extent according to WHO.

The company is expected to produce 12 tons of hydroalcoholic gel. The World’s largest luxury brand has also pledged $ 2.3 million to the Chinese Red Cross.
L’Oreal
L’Oreal world’s largest cosmetic brand has also come forward to help its customers in times of need. The brand recently tweeted, “The L’Oréal Group is implementing a European solidarity programme to contribute to the fight against coronavirus by all stakeholders.”
For medical supplies, including mask and also other protective gears the beauty conglomerate has pledged $720,000 to the Chinese Red Cross Foundation.
Haus Laboratories
Likewise, in Los Angeles, Lady Gaga’s vegan and cruelty-free makeup beauty brand Haus Labs pledged 20 per cent of its week’s profit.
So, the proceeds will go to local food banks in LA and New York. Here they will serve quarantined people suffering due to the closure of school, offices and also resource hubs.
Grande Cosmetics
For both children and families most in need, Grande Cosmetics has joined hands with Feeding America. The cosmetic company will be donating 15 per cent of its online sale towards food supplies.
The brand is also giving a 15 per cent off on all website orders. Furthermore, their website provides useful information about Covid-19.
Tallix
Founder Giancarlo fashioned Tallix as the first and also the only luxury lifestyle protection brand. The brand works from one of the most expensive ZIP codes in the US Beverly Hills.
