Most Exit Polls have given BJP an unfounded benefit of the doubt when it comes to the polarization around the sit-in Anti-CAA protest at Shaheen Bagh in the recent days. However, Delhi’s voters appear much more mature and intent to vote on the basis of development, staying clear of any sentiments.

The Magical Number of Delhi
To form the government in Delhi, a party needs to win 36 seats out of 70. However, AAP is expected to underperform in comparison to 2015 when the voter turnout was 67%. In 2020, the turnout stood at 54.65% at the end of the voting day.

In 2015 Delhi Elections, BJP managed to win only 3 seats while the Congress scored nil. As per the early impression and exit polls opinion, AAP is going to form the government but with fewer seats. The BJP’s campaign was headed by the PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. As per DKODING’s Exit Poll Prediction – AAP will win 60 seats while the BJP is expected to come out on top for 8 seats. The Congress may take home 2 seats.
The AAP party with its stronghold in Delhi looks likely to steamroll the BJP and the Congress. However, DKODING’s exit poll prediction may spot-on the correct numbers for the AAP i.e. 60 seats at the end of the result.
