The people of Delhi had cast their vote on 8th of February for the 2020 Delhi Assembly Elections ending months of chaos and saga that has engulfed the national capital. The current scenario of Delhi election results is speaking out loud for AAP’s historic hat-trick victory. DKODING’s exit poll prediction heading towards the exact number.
Who will win, who will lose, or whether there will be a coalition government? Early exit polls, political analyst opinions and voter surveys indicated a big victory awaits for the Aam Aadmi Party. The final results of Delhi Elections are favouring a 60+ seat win for AAP.
Most Exit Polls have given BJP an unfounded benefit of the doubt when it comes to the polarization around the sit-in Anti-CAA protest at Shaheen Bagh in the recent days. However, Delhi’s voters appear much more mature and intent to vote on the basis of development, staying clear of any sentiments.
Our exit polls prediction were based on the mood, attitude and willingness of the people sharing their views on political parties, propaganda and achievements. So who is going to win the Delhi 2020 elections? As per the current scenario, the AAP is commanding the counting lead by 58 seats in its bucket, while BJP is running with 12 seats and Congress perhaps looks on course to score a duck.
The BJP under HM Amit Shah’s leadership used CAA and Shaheen Bagh as their election agenda to defame the AAP in Delhi. The Indian National Congress ran a lacklustre campaign, focusing on the narrative of calling the AAP a corrupt party and accusing the BJP of divisive vote bank politics to entice Hindu votes.
AAP toddled way behind the BJP in the bygone Lok Sabha and MCD Elections in Delhi. However, based on exit polls, the Arvind Kejriwal led party is set for a third term in Delhi. Early counting suggests AAP is on course for a 60+ seats win in Delhi Elections 2020
AAP won with 67 votes of 70 in Delhi Assembly Elections 2015 and has been relentlessly campaigning for work done in the last 5 years.

The Magical Number of Delhi
To form the government in Delhi, a party needs to win 36 seats out of 70. However, AAP is expected to underperform in comparison to 2015 when the voter turnout was 67%. In 2020, the turnout stood at 54.65% at the end of the voting day.
In 2015 Delhi Elections, BJP managed to win only 3 seats while the Congress scored nil. As per the early impression and exit polls opinion, AAP is going to form the government but with fewer seats. The BJP’s campaign was headed by the PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. As per DKODING’s Exit Poll Prediction – AAP will win 60 seats while the BJP is expected to come out on top for 8 seats. The Congress may take home 2 seats.
The AAP party with its stronghold in Delhi looks likely to steamroll the BJP and the Congress. However, DKODING’s exit poll prediction may spot-on the correct numbers for the AAP i.e. 60 seats at the end of the result.
