Protests in the National Capital Region still continue. With many metro stations closed, Delhi is on its streets protesting against CAA. On Thursday, there was a major turnout at various places along with slogans and police buses.

The protest came into light after brutal police action against the students of Jamia Milia University. It continues to become a movement.
Lal Quila, Mandi House, and more: Protests against CAA continue
Lal Quila’s protest saw a huge turnout of around 3,000 people all standing against the CAA. Most of these protestors were detained by Delhi Police. What started out as a peaceful protest at Lal Quila was attacked by the Delhi Police. Around 40-50 police buses were there.
Not only this but many protestors were also detained at Mandi House. One could see the police chasing the protestors, grabbing them, and mishandling them. The police buses were filled with protestors.
Sitaram Yechuri, D Raja and Brinda Karat were also detained. The march, however, reached Jantar Mantar.
Despite all the hindrances, the protest against CAA continues with heated slogans and motivated citizens.
