It’s all but official that the 47th Vice President of the US, Biden will be the Democrat hopeful to dethrone President Donald Trump come November. - Biden-Sanders – A Winning Combination
- Bernie Sanders doesn’t need to be the President
- Sander’s policy promises that the United States needs now more than ever
- Relieving United States of America from dangerous Trump
- With Obama’s support and Sander’s vision
Furthermore, it was reported later in the day that Senator Sanders had spoken to President Barack Obama before pulling out of the race. President Obama, who had declined to back any candidate till the Democrat Primary was official, is now ready to come out and campaign for his Vice President Biden.
However, the next big news is the assumption already gaining fire – Biden is likely to work alongside Sanders, possibly making him his Vice President-elect for November.
Biden-Sanders – A Winning Combination
A new Quinnipiac University poll shows that Biden leads Trump by 8 points. Bidden has support from 49 percent voters whereas Trump is being backed by 41 percent. Moreover, Biden leads in key voting segments like independents, women and black voters. With Sanders at his side, Biden will also have votes from young voters and socialists. That works.
Sanders has also changed the political discourse in recent times. The United States never wanted affordable healthcare as much as it does today. Likewise, Americans never knew the worth of minimum wages and a socialist welfarist government as it does today. So, the capitalism that America prides itself upon is in tatters. The great establishments are also today kneeled indefinitely in front of the invisible enemy.
Joe Biden already leads in key voting blocks – independents, women and black voters. With Sanders, he also has votes from youth and socialists.
So, millions of working-class Americans are peeping into a horrifying future. Indeed, Sander’s policy promises will bring the United States out of this catastrophe. Ready-made for Biden to tout and then convert into reality.
Don’t need to be the President
In an interview after the announcement, Senator Sanders ensured that he will keep working for his promises to the American working class. And he said that he doesn’t need to be a president to do it. Sanders only entered the presidential race because being at the helm would help him accelerate his vision for the average American.
Sanders has already spoken to Biden, is ready to work with him. Sanders is ready to help Biden change his political discourse and shed the difference in individual politics. Indeed, it would be the perfect contrasting political companionship for Joe Biden to appeal to an all-inclusive America.
Democrats hesitate to back Sanders due to his anti-establishment stand. Biden has no such problems. But Sander’s stand appeals to a majority of Americans including the vital new generation which will be critical in November more than ever. Given than healthcare and economic safeguards for citizens will be at the forefront in November.
Relieving America from dangerous Trump
Sanders further stated that one of his core agenda moving forward will be to ensure that President Donald Trump doesn’t win re-election. The Vermont Senator also called Trump the most dangerous president in recent history. Sanders will come out as an able deputy and also a second channel to spread the Democratic word among voters.
A Biden-Sanders partnership will also go a long way in destabilizing the Trump-Pence hand of the Republicans. Moreover, the pandemic has left the United States licking wounds and looking into a dreaded abyss – economically and health-wise. So, in these testing times, just winning the Democratic primary isn’t enough for Biden.
The former Vice President Joe Biden needs to combine the ideologies of two Democrat stalwarts in Obama and Sanders. If Biden successfully manages to do that by including Bernie Sanders in the electoral fight ahead. the race to White House and dethroning Trump will surely be in the balance come November.
