Better Call Saul is no less than Breaking Bad, but a crossover between the two might take the prequel a step ahead. Now, when Walter White and Jesse Pinkman will finally debut in Better Call Saul, we can expect a crossover between Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. The directors have teased that the “two worlds crossover in a way you haven’t seen before”.
Better Call Saul can be better than Breaking Bad
We know Better Call Saul is Breaking Bad’s prequel, but all we could see as a connection between the two are a lot of remarkable faces. There’s no crossover between the two which somewhat affects the “Breaking Bad” effect in the show.
Better Call Saul is an outstanding show and is no less popular than Breaking Bad. But, there are two things that fans believe would have made the show stand a step ahead of its Breaking Bad.
The first thing is the presence of all the famous Breaking Bad faces except the two most popular ones, Bryan Cranston’s Walter White and Aaron Paul’s Jesse Pinkman. Second, Better Call is a prequel show, yet it has not set up a crossover in five seasons.
Both the issues will be resolved in Season 6
The first thing is however resolved after it is confirmed that the meth kings will make their debut in Saul Goodman’s world, in the finale season of Better Call Saul. Talking about the ‘crossover thing,” it will be probably resolved too after the what the creators of the show have said.
Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould have recently teased the chances of a crossover between the two shows. In an interview with Variety, they first shared how Walter White and Jesse Pinkman will return to the screen. Vivian said it would be a shame White and Pinkman don’t return amidst the chaos.
“It would be a damn shame if the show ended without [Cranston and Paul] appearing, would it not?”
Followed by this comment, Peter confirmed a crossover and that too in an unexpected way. He also added that if there is ever going to be a right time for these worlds to cross paths, it is now. Z
“These two worlds crossover in a way that you haven’t seen before, that’s for sure. If it’s ever going to happen, this is when these two shows start crossing over.”
The two worlds will cross paths
With the return of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, the chances of a crossover are extremely high. Maybe the episode they appear unexpectedly would mark as a crossover episode and things begin to collide between the two worlds.
Also, Saul Goodman was the one who actually gave the idea of the meth business in Breaking Bad, so it is yet to be seen how these guys (if they do) cross paths in the season finale.
We have enjoyed how the paths of two Breaking Bad leads and Saul Goodman crossed in the past, so when they cross again and that too in the prequel set-up it will be different and undoubtedly amazing.
The first two episodes of Better Call Saul’s Season 6 are streaming live on Netflix.
