The answer is NO.
When Amber Heard’s lawyer Elaine Bredehoft was asked by Today if she can pay the amount, she answered, “oh no. Absolutely not.”
She further added:
She was demonized here. A number of things were allowed in this court that should not have been allowed, and it caused the jury to be confused.

Bredehoft also revealed that they were barred from presenting evidences from the U.K. trial which doomed them to defeat.
The UK court “found that Mr. Depp had committed at least 12 acts of domestic violence, including sexual violence, against Amber. So what did Depp’s team learn from this? Demonize Amber and suppress the evidence. We had an enormous amount of evidence that was suppressed in this case that was in the UK case.”
So what will Amber Heard do if she can’t pay Depp?
Heard will appeal the trail verdict. The Aquaman actress might once again reach out to court to reach a fairer conclusions or at least the one with reduced amount in damages.
This would require Heard to also write a bond worth the lawsuit amount. However, if she doesn’t write a bond during her appeal against the verdict, Depp gets the right to execute on the judgment.
After losing the legal battle, Amber Heard released a statement saying that she is heartbroken —
I’m heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence, and sway of my ex-husband.”
Heard continued:
I’m even more disappointed with what this verdict means for other women. It is a setback. It sets back the clock to a time when a woman who spoke up and spoke out could be publicly shamed and humiliated. It sets back the idea that violence against women is to be taken seriously.
