KFC Indonesia starts selling bags of fried chicken skin
If you’re a KFC fan, you know that there’s one thing that sets their chicken aside from the rest – the skin.
Now, KFC has brought out a treat for people who love fast food delicacy more than anything – bags of fried chicken skin. That’s right, just the skin.
KFC has started selling bags of fried chicken skin
KFC Indonesia announced the new menu item on its official Twitter feed last month, explaining the chicken skin fries would be available at several locations across the country.
The bag of fried chicken is currently available in six locations within Indonesia, including Kelapa Gading, Kalimalang, MT Haryono, Salemba, Cideng, and Kemang. The snack is available for only 5 cents short of a dollar when compared to USD currency.
The treat is being trialled across Indonesia and is believed to be hitting other parts of the world soon, depending on how the reviews go. And so far so good, with hundreds running to social media to post their love of the new KFC snack.

Mind you, the response on social media has been mixed. While one KFC fan said they were ‘overjoyed’, another admitted they were a little disappointed, commenting: “I prefer to buy the chicken, then eat the skin directly from there.”
Another added: ‘I’m eating this morning, noon and night from now on.’ Said a third: ‘It tastes even better than I thought possible. It’s so good.’
This isn’t the first time KFC has served a snack version of its skins. In the Philippines, KFC sold the snack under the name Cracklings.
