The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the 12th board results on Thursday. Like the last time, girls have staged this time too. According to CBSE, 9 percent more girls have passed than boys.
In CBSE 12th Board, 88.70% of the girls were successful in passing, whereas boys passing percentage were 79.4%. This time around 83.4 percent of the children has been able to pass.
Joint toppers of the exam are Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora.
Results declared by CBSE, Karishma Arora from Muzaffarnagar’s SD Public School and Hansika Shukla from Ghaziabad’s Delhi Public School have jointly topped the list.
Both girls get 499 marks out of 500 marks. Not only this, Aishwarya who is jointly tied with 3 girl students is also from UP.
Anita Karwal, Chairperson of CBSE SAID, “I am happy to say girls have done better than boys by whopping 9 percent. 88.70 percent of girls and 79.4 boys passed the examination. Out of 18 top performers in the country, 11 are the girls”.
Trivandrum city is at the forefront
Around 13 lakhs students appeared in the 12th examination conducted by CBSE. Most of which came in 98.2% of children in Trivandrum city. The result of this time is 0.4 percent better than last time.
