The mayor of Rio de Jenario orders all stalls to remove an Avengers comic issue. His reason for removing this comic issue is, “to protect our children” he claims. This is straight up hiding from kids what they should or should not know about.
He believes that the content in this Avengers comic is unsuitable for the children and they must not be exposed to any such materials. He took to Twitter and said in a video, “ it is not right for children to have access to subjects that do not agree with their age”.

The Brazilian politician at one point claims that homosexual people are victims of a terrible evil. Well, we can’t help but agree; is it possible to subject comic characters to the same evil?
The politician claims that the same should be sealed and packed with a warning about the content it contains. Event organisers refuse to comply.
This happened over the comic book from 2010 by the name of Avengers: The Children’s Crusade. The mayor’s orders were not complied with though only 1 store had copies of the same which were sold out before any action could be taken against it.
These actions speak volumes of Hypocrisy. The same volume has been criticised by another politico during a city hall statement saying,” Parents only realise the content later. An awful crime.”
Marvel comics is yet to give any official statement about the incident but it is clear that the world is yet to accept gay people as normal everyday people.
Where p*rn is available freely for everybody with any preferences, comic books must be covered lest the children “catch” homosexuality? What a wonderful world. Is the world not ready to accept even imaginary superheroes as homosexuals? The understanding of the thought that led to this is unclear.
