For The Love of Science and Fine Suits
Tony Stark first appeared on the big screen in a metallic makeshift armour in 2008. Well, in that movie he was supposed to make a missile for the terrorists but comes out with an Iron suit instead. Eventually, that suit with the limited power and supplies gets him out of there. (And what a sequence!)
Can you beat that? Well, No one can except Tony Stark himself.
Over the years we have seen him going from the makeshift suit to super sleek Mark 50 nanotech suit used against Thanos. But one can only imagine various suits he built for other characters.

Here are 5 suits that Tony Stark made for other Avengers
HULKBUSTER
Hulk Buster was first introduced in Avenger: Age of Ultron when Wanda Maximoff messes with Hulk’s mind and makes him go crazier than usual. And Tony Stark calls in “Veronica” (Hulkbuster). Well, the official name of this suit is ‘Mark XLIII’. The suit was solely made for the purpose of restraining the Hulk after he destroyed the Helicarrier in the Avengers.
Moving forward to the Capabilities of this extra-large suit, the suit is powered by over eleven Arc Reactors in order to grant strength. Hulkbuster was made to take extreme damage such as Hulk brutal attacks. The armour has flight capabilities but the heavy size make it slower than other suits. It contains a Heads Up Display (HUD). It also contains repulsor beams strong enough to hold down Hulk but for a while.
Each section of this suit can fly to the user from a drop pod hovering around the combat zone and automatically assemble into it. Like we have seen in the Age of Ultron it has a grappling hook to hold hulk down and use repulsion beam on him. Extended punches to chemical spray, missiles and whatnot.
This suit was eventually used by Bruce Banner himself in the Avengers: Infinity War as Hulk wasn’t ready to come out.
THE WAR MACHINE
The suit is also known as Variable Threat Response Battlesuit. The first time James Rhodes used the suit was in Iron Man 2. Yes yes, it is a suit that Tony Stark made so it has to fly. But when utilizing the armour it increases Rhodes’ natural physical abilities to the superhuman level. Meaning he could also take down the Star Lord with a single punch or restrain Thanos’ arm.
The suit is extremely fast and during combat, the reflexes are faster than naturally possible. The armour has remote assistance and a holographic HUD with cellphone and computer connections in the helmet. The suit has a self-sustained life support system and environmental protection, as you must remember Rhodes in the Quantum Realm. It can be sealed for operations in vacuum and underwater.
It has repulsors and something even better, an Unibeam that is a more powerful version of the palm repulsors mounted on the chest. It is mounted with a 7.62-mm minigun and a Rocket launcher on the left shoulder (Made by- Hammer Industries).
There are actually 8 upgrades of War Machine suits with various sets of upgraded powers and abilities.
IRON SPIDER ARMOR
The Iron Spider Armor was first introduced in the Spider-man Homecoming when Peter refuses to take the suit and prefer staying on the ground like friendly neighbourhood Spider-man.
And the next time you see him wearing this armor was in Endgame when he gets on the Titan’s ship.
“This smells like a new car in here Mr. Stark”
The suit has many intuitive capabilities. Starting with Neural-reactive interface, meaning this armour can quickly respond to Spider-man’s mental input. Tony created the Iron Spider Armor from nanites which allows it to be stored in a small launch pod that could be deployed from the New Avengers Facility.
The suit has Spider-legs, which he deployed without even knowing while he attempts to rescue Doctor Strange in the Endgame hence the Neural-Reactive interface. Spider legs are able to withstand Thanos’ grip without becoming damaged. And combat the pull of the vacuum caused by a hull breach.
It has self-contained environmental protection, it is remote control and even bulletproof. The suit has enhanced durability capable enough to withstand Thanos’ slams. Armoured web-shooters, Parachute. As an offence, it has an instant kill mode one of the most dangerous modes, which is used in the last battle on Earth in the Endgame.
FALCON’s ARMOR
Well, not on Earth 616, which we live in but on Earth 12041, Falcon’s wings in this universe are known as the Falcon Armor. The suit was designed by Stark.
This suit is equipped with holographic wings of which can produce explosive flechettes and retractable talons. It can fly in subsonic speed but requires flying skills. Wilson is capable of performing many advanced and complicated manoeuvres in midair.
When moving at high speed, Falcon can utilize the momentum and weight to generate a large amount of force. As a former member of the US Air Force, Wilson is highly trained in hand to hand combat and with the suit he is even better.
If you remember the unprecedented visit of Ant-Man in the Civil War, Falcon was able to counter his unique attacks after only viewing them momentarily. His combat goggles allow him to see in multiple spectrums and see objects too far away or too small for the naked eye as he was able to Ant-Man even in his Ant sized form.
THE ADVANCED TECH SUIT (QUANTUM SUIT)
This suit is used for Time Travel. As you all know that the suit was used in the Endgame for travelling through the quantum tunnel. An upgrade of Hank Pym’s suit it was in conjunction with a Time-space GPS. Tony Stark made these suits for all the Avengers.
The suit was not equipped with any guns or missileS but using the Pym Particles invented my Doctor Henry Pym. The suit can shrink down in size to subatomic levels just like Ant-man and enter the Quantum Realm. The suit’s nanotech structure allows for near immediate materialization around the one wearing as shown in the Avenger: Endgame.
