It’s that time of the century when we’re all in a quarantine thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic. Nerds around the world are taking the opportunity to revisit all their favourite movies. Painstakingly watching the movie 5 times slower to connect each and every Easter egg and break it down further.
Message for the Earth: We are Groot
The filmmakers at Marvel are also keeping their audience intrigued and engaged with unseen features and concept arts to fuel the imagination of fans.
Recently, director James Gunn shared a giant Groot picture with his followers on social media website Instagram. The artwork by Marvel artist Brian Kesinger, shows Groot holding the Earth with a loving smile. Gunn aptly captioned it, ‘We’re all in this together.’
That’s the kind of loving planet needs right now.

Alpha Groot Origins
Fan favourite Groot first appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1 as an accomplice with our other favourite character Rocket Racoon. In the movie during the Battle of Xandar Groot sacrifices his own life to save his new friends.
And we get adorable baby Groot in Guardian of the Galaxy Vol 2.

In the Marvel Comic Universe, Groot species also known as Flora Colossus, are hyper-intelligent, tree-like organism. This cosmic species is a humanoid with a robust body structure that makes than invulnerable to any harm. With high healing capabilities, they are able to regrow their entire bodies.
And all of them are Groot!
As a defence mechanism, they are able to extend their limbs as vines to reach high places, use it as whip-like weapons or shield. Groot can change their body shape, grow leaves or flowers, and release bioluminescent.
Marvel’s Guardian of The Galaxy Vol 3 Plans
Actor Vin Deisel, who voices the loving character recently revealed that soon we’ll get a glimpse of alpha Groot in a Guardians cameo in Thor: Love and Thunder.
The Guardian of The Galaxy Vol 3 is not on Marvel’s Phase 4 slate as Marvel will just give a taste of these fan favourite characters in the upcoming Thor movie.
Director James Gunn has finished principal photography for DC’s Suicide Squad and is now back to work on the Guardians movie for phase 5. Notoriously famous to misdirect fans on social media James Gunn’s new alpha Groot reveal leaves fans in confusion whether it’ll materailize or not.
With the movie productions stalled due to the outbreak of coronavirus and delay in the release of the Black Widow movie. It is yet to be seen how Marvel will slate its upcoming productions.
