A woman will often resort to going for great lengths for the sake of her beauty, from wearing weird corsets that barely allow you to breathe to having feet clad in sky-high heels on shoes she can barely walk in and that will break her ankle should she make a single misstep. Like commoners, many celebrities also use weird beauty hacks.
Hollywood celebrities are no different when it comes to working really hard to ensure that they never age, never sag and never look anything less than ethereally beautiful. After all, every woman deserves to look and feel incredible, and if some of these secrets are relatively painless, why not give them a try?
Here are beauty hacks that have been learned from the stars that you might like to give a try!
While some of the hacks they had for their impressive film worthy skins and others are a little too strange and rather unlikely that we would be trying them at home.
1. Hemorrhoid Cream by Kim Kardashian and Sandra Bullock
Both the ladies Kim Kardashian and Sandra Bullock have an unusual approach to reduce puffiness around their eyes for which they use hemorrhoid cream! Apparently, it constricts blood vessels and makes the skin around the eyes tighter, reducing wrinkles as well. There are women whoāve tried out this hack out but not everyone has seen a major difference after applying it. In fact, the smell of it was not pleasant to bear when applied on the face, and besides, instructions on most containers state that the product should NOT be anywhere close to the eyes. If the cream gets into your eyes at all, puffy eyes will be the least of your worries! So, maybe consider giving this one a miss!
2.Glue stick by Beyonce
You wonāt believe that Beyonce uses a glue stick for perfectly made eyebrows. Seriously, isnāt it shocking? But you have to anyhow believe it. Although there are plenty of products like Eyebrow gels and many more available to achieve your dream eyebrow shape. Yet Queen Beyās makeup artist, Sir John has another trick that is to use a washable glue-stick in place of eyebrow gel. He claims that the results are the same and itās much easier to wash off too. If you do want to try this trend out, make sure that you stick to regular old glue-sticks, and do NOT experiment with super glue!
3.Bepanthen by Margot Robbie
Bepanthen is a product used to repair nipples of breastfeeding mothers, but she uses her lip balm. She believes that some of the lip balms contain dehydrating ingredients like phenol and menthol which dry out your lips, therefore forcing you to continually purchase more and more lip balm in order to āsootheā them. So she uses bepanthen instead of lip balms for a hit of hydration thatāll actually heal.
4. Beer by Catherine Zeta-Jones
After the trend of champagne showers doing great things for our hair, comes pouring beer onto one’s locks. Wow did someone just said beer onto hair ! that sounds something new?
But that it actually works as demonstrated by Catherine Zeta-Jones. Once the beer dries, the residue of hops and barley gives your hair more body and volume. All you do is cover your hair from root to tip in beer and wash it off with shampoo 20 minutes later. And thatās it.
5.ACV apple cider vinegar by Scarlett Johansson
The black widow actress is not just popular for her acting skills but also for using household products and kitchen ingredients to maintain her glowing skin. While using ACV for the hair is a much-loved home remedy for shiny locks, using it on the face can seem a bit weird, considering that it is a type of vinegar i.e., not the most gentle product out there! But Scarlett claims that it helps clear her skin of acne and makes it glow.
If at all you plan on using ACV for your facial skin, ensure that you dilute it well with water or herbal tea and apply a small quantity only.
6. Tape by Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga uses Tape for her younger-looking skin. You all must be thinking that what is it even supposed to mean, how can that be possible. Well, well, well! Lady Gaga tries to ensure that her skin stays taut and young-looking, so she tapes back her cheekbones and the skin on her neck. Um, not a very smart move as explained by experts, as this technique leads to the skin receiving lesser nutrients and can probably cause internal scarring. Technically, it can speed up the aging process. So, itās probably best to leave the tape to its uses around the house.
7. Mayonnaise by Blake Lively and Salma Hayek

Have you tried mayonnaise on sandwiches, you must have? But have you ever tried mayo on your locks? Uhh!! Isnāt it weird? But actually, itās claimed that mayonnaise makes the hair more lustrous and shiny by locking in moisture. So actresses Blake Lively and Salma Hayek nourish their locks by using mayonnaise. And you know that applying mayonnaise on the hair doesnāt really have any negative effects that have been heard of, and it actually can help tame frizzy hair to an extent.
You may find these hacks were a little out of the box but we promise they’ll be worth it!
