The Moonbroch Atelier Couture Collection’19 unveiled at Slay The Runway – For a Cause
The Moonbroch Atelier Fundraiser held on 3rd August was an evening of eye-catching fashion with classics and avant-garde creations from the house of Moonbroch, a leading couture designer brand.
Moonbroch believes in transforming lives through true empowerment and this show was an initiative to support The Laksh Foundation through an innovative fundraiser. In keeping with the Moonbroch brand philosophy of celebrating women achievers from different arenas, the show brought together a striking mix of 25 entrepreneurs, doctors, fashionistas, architects, models, and artists to showcase the collection.

The Creative Head of Moonbroch, Kamalpreet Dhaliwal provided personalized styling and transformational makeovers to the participants. The event was an impressive showcase of this unique offering from Moonbroch which offers not only designer ensembles, jewelry, and accessories but provides customized styling basis individual body type.
The Moonbroch Couture Collection’19 unveiled at this fashion extravaganza was a magnificent confluence of empowering yet feminine silhouettes. Imbued with spectacular artisanal detailing, Moonbroch creations find their essence in the perfection of cut and craftsmanship.

DKODING Media was the digital partner of the event that covered and aired the latest bytes, it was held in association with The Manhattan Craft Brewery on the buzzing Golf Course Road – a hub of explosive entertainment, innovative brews, and gourmet cuisine.
The fundraiser witnessed a massive turnout. The guest list comprised of distinguished and glamorous changemakers, fashionistas, corporate honchos, socialites and entrepreneurs from the Delhi NCR swish set.
According to DKODING fashion correspondent, the Moonbroch collection transcended the realm between the fantasy and the extravagant with a signature combination of elegant and chic designs. Presenting two distinctive sequences, the show excited guests with Vintage couture evening gowns in the finale.
Inspired by the timeless glamour of an era of archetypal Victorian opulence, the evening gowns brought together a touch of Hollywood red carpet drama. The delicate rhinestone embellishments and explosion of dramatic reds came together perfectly.
The opening sequence showcased The Moonbroch Festive Collection with exquisite Indian Bridal and Festive ensembles. The first part of the show was the confluence of ancient Indian arts and contemporary silhouettes showcasing royal Indian lehengas, sarees and fusion outfits. The collections were accompanied by a curated edit of striking jewelry aswell.
The showstopper creation was a captivating confluence of metallic silver silk and deep pink draped in an unexpected sweeping cowl. The bodice was detailed with minutely draped pleats accompanied by a luxurious silver trail. Another favorite from the collection that stood out was a highly styled monochrome creation fashioned in black fur with dreamy feathers and a dramatic train.

A sea of copper and gold sequins adorned an elegant Mermaid gown. Hues of metallic greys melted into sequinned black to create a spectacular impact in yet another stunning creation. The show also featured a multi-tiered fusion creation in myriad hues of grey embellished with edgy black feathers.
Another favorited of the DKODING fashion correspondent was, a glamorous Victorian red evening gown was fashioned from luxurious silks with intricate handwork. Using glorious colors and edgy new age accents to depict the grandeur of an unforgettable era of unbridled style, the Moonbroch collection skilfully combined wearability and glamour.

The Cause: About Laksh Foundation
Laksh Foundation was started in 2007 and registered as a charitable organization in 2009. Today its work spans 6 villages in Haryana– Manager, Silakhari, Dhauj, Sirohi, Khori and Alampur- and benefits more than 1000 children and their families. It also runs a women’s empowerment program through a Co-operative which teaches rural women basic literacy and stitching skills to make them self- sufficient. 12 years on, the Foundation initiated by Ila Lumba, is an active participant in the massive grassroots social change in India.
