NARS latest explicit advertisement comes as no surprise from the cosmetics giant. (the brand that’s known for the best-selling Orgasm blush shade.)
However, some people on social media are finding the company’s latest social media play explicit and mostly just gross.
On Sunday, the makeup brand shared a video on its Instagram account, showcasing its new Morocco Lipstick as it rises from a penis-like shape (the lipstick formula resembles skin) to its original bullet form, featuring the NARS logo.
“When the nudes keep you up all night. Reach the dawn with Morocco Lipstick, warm cinnamon. #NARSAFTERHOURS,” the playful caption reads. The clip, the melting of lipstick is shown in reverse, causing the product’s original bullet shape to ripple.
Nars brand is a brand that uses sex to sell make-up as always. After all we are talking about the brand that brought us ‘Orgasm’ blush, perhaps the most famous blusher in the history of blushes, as well as other classics like ‘G Spot’ and ‘Deep Throat.’It should be expected of the brand, therefore, that the beloved beauty brand has employed sex once again for its newest products. And honestly, we are more than delighted for the amazing shade it has brought out.
While NARS is famous for its creative and most controversial product names loved worldwide by customers, a few of them seem to think that the brand took its latest ad too far. But did it really? It’s just a lipstick melting in reverse!
One of the twitter users had a rather strong opinion about it.
