Who knew Royalty was hidden in these brands too!
‘OMG!’ reactions ahead! They might be Royal, but they are girls after all. And every girl has their favourite go-to Brand, that they can totally trust upon any day, any season!
Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, (as we already know) are fabulous fashionistas whose wardrobes are a dream for every girl. But darling, hold on that thought for a moment! Maybe, your dream might just come true when we reveal it to you that these Royal ladies have been choosing brands that have been all around you all this while!
Let’s unveil a few Royal brands that you could add to your wardrobe and feel like a Princess too…
Kate loves Kate! And that, my friend, is not an understatement. Kate truly loves Kate Spade as her go-to accessories brand and she has sported several vibrant jewelry pieces from the brand. From popping coloured tassel earrings to pretty dresses. She has been there and done that. She also wore a dress from this Brand to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement. Now that’s some major love for a brand!
Now, most of you wouldn’t know that the ever so famous navy blue long-sleeve dress that Kate wore for her engagement portrait with Prince William was a Reiss dress. See? It isn’t so difficult to get your hands on something pretty and royal after all! Kate really seems to like this brand a lot, because when she met the Obamas in 2011, she sported a neutral sheath Reiss dress once again. She has a way of making things look elegant and pretty and it was the same story with this dress too. Pairing it up with a black clutch and black heels made the dress pop out!
A trip to the mall means strolls around the Zara store. And we’re guessing this isn’t just every girl’s fascination, its Kate Middleton’s fascination too. Zara is that one fast-fashion brand that even Kate does not seem to get enough. Be it accessories or dresses, Kate has it all. In December 2013, Kate wore a necklace that created a statement to her get up. And this necklace was just $35 that was picked up from a Spanish retailer. If you’re a Zara fan, then you’d know how much Kate loves to sport on her casual looks with the brand.
We know that ‘Beckham’ name brought back every childhood blush! But that’s not the Beckham that we’re talking about here, we mean the Lady Beckham here. Former Spice Girl turned designer, Victoria was one among the many lucky ones to have been invited to Kate’s wedding (Meghan’s too!) and we know that if you’re on that guest list, you’re pretty special. Kate truly loves wearing Beckham’s fashion label, be it the bags or the dresses.
When we talk about Royal wedding gowns, Givenchy holds a special place and why? That’s because this amazing fashion house was the soul behind Meghan’s breathtaking wedding gown, and henceforth began a new love story! She was also spotted wearing a Givenchy neutral sheath dress with a cape-like covering over her shoulders, while she went out for her first solo outing with the Queen. Now that is some level of favouritism!
You can leave home, but the home within you never leaves you! And the same goes for Meghan when it comes to favourite brand choices. Ralph Lauren, an American aesthetic brand, is one of Meghan’s favourite and that goes well in a sense because her home state is California. She trusts the fashion of this brand so much that she chose to wear an olive green dress with matching accessories for Prince Louis’ christening last July. Also, she prefers picking casual-formal outfits from this label while she sports in them for rather casual outings. You go, girl!
As classy as classy gets! Dior it is! When the Royals choose a brand for special occasions, you’d know that they are special. Dior is one of them. It was the Royal Air Force centenary when Meghan wore an amazing A-line midi with a bateau neckline exactly like her wedding gown. Not just that, but Meghan is a true lover when it comes to Dior-made shoes and has been spotted wearing them on quite a few occasions. And that’s not all, Meghan is also a huge fan of Dior makeup. And right now at the moment, she’s a fan of Dior Backstage’s Face and Body Foundation, which she also used on her wedding day. Now that’s what we mean when we say, “my favourite!”
Meghan, the gorgeous lady that she already is, looked even more beautiful when she appeared in this angelic gown with pretty patterns by Carolina Herrera during a royal visit to Morocco, though it wasn’t the first time she wore a dress by this designer, you know when love happens just like that. She was later spotted wearing a pale pink dress in June 2018 by the same brand.
