Let’s be honest Met gala 2019 was the wackiest of all fashions events, and it made sure that its no longer acceptable for men to just put on a designer white tuxedo, a shiny bow tie and call it a day.
However, men disappoint and that’s a fact. As we saw most men at the gala turned up as mundane men in black.
But to satiate our fashion thirst there were some flamboyant feathered birds who didn’t let their masculinity or heterosexuality come in between their night of glory.
No doubt the theme of this year’s Gala was a tough cookie to break for men. Yet these 10 men redefined camp for us all and we can’t help but give them the applause they well deserve.
We are sure these fancy lads and their designer attires will knock your socks off.
● Jared Leto- In Gucci

This guy doesn’t have his head in the right place. While most people were shocked by his accessory choices, we were in awe of this man. What else can you expect from the Joker of Gotham city?
● Billy Porter- In custom bodysuit

If only pharaohs were alive today, they would give this golden beauty a throne and a pyramid for his jazzy winged bodysuit. Entering on the shoulder of six muscular men, Billy Porter is giving Effeminacy a new sexier brand.
● Jordan Ruth

When those arms went up, those jaws went down. Like a true Broadway legend he is, Ruth brought his A-game at the gala. He stole the show in his stately yet sumptuous Iris van Herpen look.
● Ezra Miller- In Burberry

Mask on. Mask off. We love him both ways. A psychedelic EYEconic makeup, a pinstripe suit with a ragging train, and bedazzled corset. It was a wonderful headache to relish in.
● Ryan Murphy- In Christian Siriano

Channeling the iconic Liberace who defined camp, Murphy was visionary eye candy at Met Gala. Pearl-embellished floor-length cape and tonal silk suit completely encrusted with sequins made fashion police everywhere bow down to the star.
● Harry Styles- In Gucci

Congratulations Styles! You have just won the Met 2019. The host of the night wore embraced the see-through shirt (Giving us a scrumptious vision of those nipples and tats) with just the right amount of ruffles.
● Cole Sprouse- In Ferragamo

Embracing the theme, Sprouse didn’t disappoint us with his floral embroidered cut sleeveless suit. But with those jaws and those eyes, he could have done better. Eye on you Sprouse for next year.
● Hamish Bowles- In Maison Margiela

If anyone was camp from head to toe, it was this vogue editor. He earns full marks for his stocking socks to his multicoloured hair. Don’t even get us started on that luscious lavender feathered cape.
● Michael Urie- In Christian Siriano

Best of both worlds, anyone? This half tuxedo and half dress on the other, along with matching half beardy and half make up look was one of the most daring looks of the night.
Was it camp? He-ll ye-ah.
● James Charles- In Alexander Wang

Is it the season of free the nipple? First Harry Styles and now Charles. A barely there chain top and black velvet trousers were far better than a snazzy bow tie and boring pants. Amen, sister.
Men take a note. This is how you do Camp and yet look snazzy enough to be the dazzling stars of the night.
The bar is set really high with men bringing their top fashion game and tinsel town ladies aren’t the only ones who are turning the heads of paparazzi this year.
