If we were in the Marvel Universe we’d have our Avengers fighting the pandemic but in real life we have our real life superheroes to fight this battle for us.
Highlights
- Staying home is demanded
- Idris Elbis tested positive for COVID-19
- Thor announced about his fitness app
The Medical staff all over the world has been fighting tirelessly and relentlessly without bothering about their own personal safety and of us, they ask us of one thing and one thing only; Stay At Home. So what are our reel life heroes doing to help us be positive from this mess?

Dogs Of Instagram And Our Heart!
Lots of dogs. That’s right. We are being subjected to a lot of clips of a lot of cute dogs and puppies by our favourite Captain America aka Chris Evans and Hawkeye aka Jeremy Renner.
Jeremy Renner has been uploading videos of his dogs and himself on his Instagram handle and the internet couldn’t help but swoon at the sight. Chris Evans too shared a picture of holding his dog on twitter and we all want to be that dog. Period.
Our four pawed friends do make things easier for us, don’t they?
But not everyone is as lucky as to be sharing just dogs videos. Idris Elba who plays Heimdall recently posted a video on his Instagram handle informing his fans and the world that he had been tested positive for the COVID-19. The star said that he was absolutely gutted to have tested positive but remains positive and urged his fans to do one thing; Social Distancing. Although not exactly sure how much he socially distanced himself as his wife, Sabrina Dhowre tested positive for the virus a week later or so.
This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing 👊🏾👊🏾 No panic. pic.twitter.com/Lg7HVMZglZ

Elba and Wife posted an update stating that they showed absolutely no symptoms so far and feel okay with little to no changes.
This should tell us one thing, stay home. Don’t put the vulnerable at risk.
Spider Man: Homecoming Indeed!
Tom Holland aka Spider Man has done a number of movies from Far From Home to Homecoming and when Holland posted a video saying he is going to be staying at home and urges his fans to do the same, people on the internet were quick to jump the gun and poked fun at the irony of it all.

Whereas, some got insults hurled at them for saying something insensitive, reckless and quite frankly at this time un-called for. Evangeline Lilly who played The Wasp in Ant Man and The Wasp took to her instagram to say that “Social Distancing sounds like someone taking away her freedom and quite frankly people are overreacting.”
Well, hop on to the next metro on your way to office because someone thinks the entire world is overreacting. These ignorant comments were not appreciated specially at a time when millions of people are suffering financially from the work at home situation which not everyone is entitled to. This is not about freedom, this is about survival.
This was pointed out by Mike Colter aka Luke Cage who stars in the show Luke Cage streaming on Netflix. The actor looked distressed and mentioned how we must take notice of who is helping the working class right now.
Thor aka Chris Hemsworth did the most Thor thing of all! The actor spreads cheer announcing his fitness app for the next 6 weeks was free to use and also requested his fans to eat healthy. (that is still not getting us any closer to our fitness goals!)
But Netflix and Chill does not really include healthy snacks, does it?
