Will ‘The Night Manager’ Season 2 starring Tom Hiddleston ever happen?
Both BBC One and AMC developed ‘The Night Manager’ as a mini-series with six episodes. Since season 1 has covered the entire story of John le Carre’s novel, there’s nothing left to tell in a new season. Unfortunately, that means there’s no room for another season. But wait, there’s something that you should know.

Recently, Tom Hiddleston, who plays Jonathan Pine in ‘The Night Manager’, stated that the writers of the show are working on the script for season 2. However, this would be a great challenge because the writers would have to write the entire story on their own. Fans are already desperate for a return and are waiting for the new season to return to their screens.
What season 2 might have in store for us?
Tom Hiddleston notes that some characters loved by the viewers may not return in the next season of ‘The Night Manager’. That said, season 2 is going to be more thrilling than the previous season. While the major plot remains under wrap, season 2 may either feature elements borrowed from John le Carre’s novel on which the first season is based, or it might become a Bond-like franchise following the heroic adventures of Jonathan Pine.
In fact, a team of writers including ‘Operation Finale’ screenwriter Matthew Orton, ‘Killing Eve’ executive producer Francessa Gardiner, and British Spy novelist Charles Humming, have already started working on the plot for season 2. Though Tom has promised everybody a heartbreak with his statement in which he said that a lot of characters won’t be returning in the new season, the news has not curbed the enthusiasm of the fans. In fact, they are all ready to watch the all-new and complex season 2.
What to expect from ‘The Night Manager’ Season 2 starring Tom Hiddleston?
When will season 2 hit the screen?
Nothing is confirmed. Tom Hiddleston’s British spy series ‘The Night Manager’ Season 2 will not hit the screens for at least two more years as the coronavirus lockdown had halted further production. Also, as of now, there are no official plans that have been confirmed.
‘The Night Manager’, released on February 21, 2016, has won international awards including three BAFTAs, three Golden Globes, and two Emmys. Whether it’s the location, the murky streets of Cairo, the crisp writing, the intense build-up, or the hot Tom Hiddleston in the lead role, the series makes it a force to be reckoned with.
