The Larry King Call Footage
Reade mentioned in her interviews with The Intercept, that her mother had made a phone call to ‘Larry King Live,’ on CNN. She recounted, “I remember it being an anonymous call and her saying my daughter was sexually harassed and retaliated against and fired, where can she go for help?” The said clip has now resurfaced.

In the era of #MeToo movement, the sexual misconduct allegation against Biden won’t be taken too lightly. The public opinion has already begun to shape and honestly, Biden hasn’t completely recovered from Trump’s last social media attack.
The presumptive Democratic nominee was anyway trying his best to clean up his public image post, Reade’s accusations. Reade claims, 30 years back while she was working for Senator Joe Biden in Washington — he once forced himself upon her.
After the accusation was made many people shared videos and photographs of women looking uncomfortable in Biden’s presence terming it ‘Biden being Bide.’ The backlash was already taking a toll on Biden’s rather unimpressive campaign.
Interestingly initially, Reade reached out to Times Up organisation for legal help. But the organisation declined to help her citing their Non-profit status and Biden’s Presidential run.

Recently, Biden’s campaign returned a $2,800 donation from the disgraced comedian Louis C.K. As per CBS, the decision, to return his money was made due to sexual misconduct allegations against the comedian which he affirms to.
Distancing from Other Misconducts
As per Federal Election Commission’s records, the comedian contributed an amount of $2,800 to Biden’s campaign on March 4. He made his donation under his real name Louis Szekely.
In 2017, the acclaimed comedian faced a major setback in his career when five women came forward and accused him of sexually inappropriate behaviour.
Initially, C.K. admitted to sexual assault allegations and expressed regret over his misbehaviour. but later turned unapologetic. During a standup show in 2019, he told his audience that ‘he likes to jerk off and hates being alone,’ a Vanity Fair report says.
Hence, it comes as no surprise that Biden distanced himself from the disgraced comedian who has had a past record of sexual misconduct.
