‘Superman & Lois’: The Kryptonian saga continues…
The official synopsis of the show reads:
“Complicating the already daunting job of raising two boys, Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch), must also concern themselves with whether or not their sons Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) and Jordan (Alexander Garfin) could inherit their father’s Kryptonian superpowers as they grow older. Returning to Smallville to handle some Kent family business, Clark and Lois are reacquainted with Lana Lang (Emmanuelle Chriqui), Clark’s first love, and her husband Kyle Cushing (Erik Valdez) … The Kent sons are reacquainted with Lana and Kyle’s rebellious daughter, Sarah (Inde Navarrette) … Meanwhile, Superman and Lois’ return to idyllic Smallville is set to be upended when a mysterious stranger (Wolé Parks) enters their lives.”
Hoechlin and Tulloch will reprise the roles they respectively played in The CW’s 2015 series ‘Supergirl’. Superman was first introduced in the show during its second season and played an important part along with Lois Lane in helping in the ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’. The show was originally expected to begin filming in March 2020. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the executives had to delay the production to October 2020. Season 1 will consist of 13 episodes and will have major elements of a family drama/action-adventure saga.
