What to expect from ‘Spiral’ Season 8?
Gilou gets a chance to redeem himself in the upcoming trial. His former boss Commissioner Brémont also asks him to find out more about crime-lord Ange Cisco (French rapper Kool Shen) and invade his gang of robbers. Gilou takes up the dangerous role of an informer. Laure and Ali find ways to cover up what they had done in the last season, but it is obviously difficult to get rid of it all at once. To redeem themselves, they ended up with a high-profile case that involved a young Moroccan migrant whose body was found in a laundry.
In the beginning, they judge the culprit to be a close friend of the deceased. But things turn difficult when lawyer Joséphine Karlsson decides to defend him. Joséphine also lets her beloved Lola move in. The case is overseen by Judge Lucie Bourdieu, who is known for her strict demeanor and ethics. Countering her is a big pain for Commissioner Beckriche and his officers. Hence, with her as the judge and Joséphine on the other side, redemption seems more than difficult. Will the duo again be forced to falsify evidence? What will the famous trio of Laure, Ali, and Gilou do? We’ll only get to find out in season 8 of the French Crime drama ‘Spiral’ on BBC Four.
